Atlantean Sorcery: Lethe was found as a baby and raised by the powerful sorceress Queen Mera. During his upbringing he was trained by the woman in the mystical arts kept by the Atlanteans since the beginning of their civilization. Mera herself has regarded Lethe as her greatest pupil, and individual that may even surpass her when it comes to the mystical arts. Like most practitioners of Atlantean magic, Lethe's abilities are at their full strength when near the sea or submerged within water, though he is unique in that his spells lose only a little of their potency when used on dry land. When unable to draw power from nearby sources of water, rather than weakening to compensate for it Lethe's spells instead draw upon the moisture within his own body to remain at their peak. This has the adverse effect of weakening him through dehydration, but enables him to cast with the same proficiency on land as in the sea.
Hyrdokinesis: This is the most basic application of Atlantean magic, and fittingly that which Lethe has the most proficiency in. Through the command of mystical energies, Lethe is capable of manipulating water into various shapes and forms for different uses. He can shape water into simple blasts or massive waves to sweep his targets away. While it is easy to manipulate water from a nearby source, such as a lake or fire hydrant, Lethe is actually capable of drawing in and condensing the water vapor in the air to use, making him dangerous even without a source of water so long as he isn't stuck in a dry climate. Lethe is also capable of making hard-water constructs or increasing the pressure of his water in order to enable his attacks to cut through stone or metal with ease.
Phase Shifting: Along with being able to manipulate water itself, Lethe is capable of manipulating the phase of water around him. He can freeze his water into ice in order to bind a target, or evaporate water into vapor should the need arise. This can also be used as a quick and easy method of gaining a source of water for use with his attacks, melting ice or condensing water around himself to fuel his magic.
Hemokinesis: Lethe's ability to extend water extends to that which exists within living being that require water to survive, allowing him to increase the pressure within a person's body to damage them internally or cause them great pain. He is capable of manipulating the blood within a person's body as well, the liquid requiring less effort to control due to its closeness to water. Through manipulation of another's blood, he is capable of controlling their movements or causing damage to them without needing to break their skin. Lethe is capable of drawing the water or blood out of any organism that possesses the substance, the process being exceedingly painful for the target and most often leaving them in a near death state or kills them outright. Using this ability seems to cause Lethe great emotional distress, even to the point of causing him physical pain, possibly due to his empathic connection to other beings through the Clear.
Hydrokinetic Healing: This art is viewed as the direct opposite of Hemokinesis by many, due to its focus on repairing damage through the use of water rather than dealing it. Imbues whatever is to be healed with medicament water molecules that work to repair damaged cells, causing the rapid regeneration of wounds in a target. Lethe's proficiency with it is considerable, being able to heal all but the most fatal of wounds within a matter of minutes depending on severity. While unable to heal fatal damage fully, he is capable of keeping a wounded target stable for an extended period of time so that they may reach the medical treatment that can save their lives.
